Dental Exams
Biannual dental exams are the most important thing you can do for your teeth besides your daily care routine. Our dentists and oral hygienists will thoroughly clean your teeth in a comfortable setting, and inspect your smile for even the subtlest signs of decay so you can get any and all treatment you need to keep your smile healthy and bright.
Dental X-rays
Radiography, or dental X-Rays, are important tools that allow your dentist to see the inner structures of your teeth and check for signs of decay or disease that aren’t visible with a routine visual inspection. Dental X-rays are harmless, quick and necessary about once per year.
Cleanings
Our dental hygienists are trained on the latest equipment and procedures to remove plaque and tartar from areas of your teeth that are difficult to reach with a home routine. Dental cleanings are a crucial part of a healthy smile, and it’s recommended that you see your dentist for a cleaning every six months.

Parents can schedule appointments for adult dental services on Wednesday and Thursday Mornings from 9am-12pm. To qualify as patients, parents must have a child currently enrolled as a Northern Nevada Children’s Dental and Orthodontics patient. We accept most major insurance plans including Medicaid, however, Medicaid may not cover certain preventive and restorative procedures. Ask our front office staff for information about coverage.
